William J. Denk
William Denk has over 30 years of accomplishment in both the Executive and Legislative branches of the Federal government. In addition, he added a decade long record of bringing this knowledge to the private sector resulting in multiple contracts awards. He has been responsible for building and managing corporate business pipelines exceeding $2 B. Both his public and private sector career are focused on national security, emergency preparedness, international defense procurement, and more recently, cyber warfare. He was a member and chairman of the NATO Industrial Planning Committee for over a decade where he brought up to 27 nations to a consensus agreement. He subsequently brought this international experience to support of major private sector oil infrastructure security projects in the Middle East. He has a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. and foreign import/export process for both commercial and security goods and services. He has worked for the Naval Sea Systems Command, the Secretary of the Navy, The Department of Defense’s Office of International Programs, the Department of Commerce’s Office of Export Administration and the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance. While at Commerce, he conceived and led the Defense Trade Advocacy program which required extensive interagency collaboration with the Departments of State and Defense to support U. S. defense industry export strategies. His private sector employment has included Washington Group International, URS, DRS and L-3 Communications. He is a member of the Surface Navy Association, the Association of the U.S. Army and the National Defense Industrial Association. He is an Economics graduate of Georgetown University and holds a Masters Degree in Finance from George Washington University.
