Dr. Tom Stephens
Dr. Stephens has over thirty years of increasing experience in both the public and private sectors involving strategic planning; international economics, project management; aid coordination; private-sector development; public-private partnerships; corporate social responsibility; and institutional capacity building. He has worked in over 40 emerging-market economies of Africa, Asia, Middle East, and Latin America. During his career, he has worked for the U.S. Government, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the World Bank and as Vice President of Citizens International, a Washington-based professional services firm. Dr. Stephens holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, an M.P.A. from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from the Graduate Institute of International Studies /University of Geneva (Switzerland).
