Theo worked for the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited at senior management levels retiring as the Corporate Lands Manager in 2017. He has over 23 years of extensive knowledge of Oil and Gas operations with expertise in Corporate Affairs, Human Resources Management, External Relations, Reputation and Land Rights Management.
He joined the Corporate Council on Africa as a Senior Advisor in August 2010, on detail from Shell Petroleum Nigeria and easily translated his stakeholder management experience to CCA’s mission in Washington of building and maintaining collaborative relationships with USG agencies, African embassies, CCA members and companies seeking to pursue opportunities in Africa; demonstrating astute management and intercultural skills. Theo effectively used his relationship management skills and understanding of Nigerian and African government procedures to shape programs with an appropriate balance between the private sector and federal and state governments. His mastery of subject matters and exceptional management of stakeholder relationships were vital to producing successful programs for CCA. Theo provided access to various senior Nigerian corporate and government leaders during his time at CCA.
Theo is an accredited partnership broker with the Overseas Development Institute & International Business Leaders Forum and has a Diploma in International Public Relations Management (London). He holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degrees.
