AMB C. Steven McGann
Ambassador C. Steven McGann (ret), Founder of The Stevenson Group, is an international consultant and global security strategist with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in providing strategic counsel to companies and organizations seeking to expand their operations into the United States, Asia-Pacific, Africa and Latin America markets. During his public service career, Ambassador McGann led a number of successful efforts in contracting, negotiations, consultation, and resource management and procurement on a global scale. He has cultivated a team to help clients in identifying emerging markets, navigating global political and economic environments, supply chain security, regulatory reform, funding procurement and allocation, providing security and risk analysis, and creating specialized advisory services tailored to meet their needs.
Ambassador McGann, formerly a Senior Foreign Service Officer with the rank of Minister-Counselor, has held several influential positions including United States Ambassador to the Republics of Fiji, Nauru, Kiribati, and the Kingdom of Tonga and Tuvalu, Charge d’Affaires (ad interim) of the United States Embassy in Dili, Timor-Leste. Ambassador McGann is currently a visiting scholar at the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies at Claremont McKenna College. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Claremont McKenna College, Claremont, CA. He previously was the Deputy Commandant and International Affairs Adviser of the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy at the National Defense University (NDU). He also was the Vice Chancellor of the College of International Security Affairs (CISA) at NDU.
